Nope, not even a little. It doesn't matter how long you've practiced, what poses you can or can't do, or what your body looks like. This training teaches you how to teach yoga — not how to do a handstand. We'll meet you exactly where you are.

That's exactly what the Immersion tier is for. It gives you the full educational experience — philosophy, anatomy, breathwork, meditation — without the teaching requirements. And if you're in the Certification or Mentorship tier and decide you don't want to teach afterward, that's completely fine too. The knowledge is yours either way.

Yes. We Be Yoga School is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance. When you graduate from the Certification or Mentorship tier, you're eligible to register as an RYT-200. The Immersion tier does not include YA certification.

Six months. July 1 through December 31, 2026. Phase 1 (July) is self-paced. Live coaching calls run August through December. You have a full year to finish your certification! 

Every call is recorded and available within 48 hours. We also offer two time slots every Wednesday — one for East Coast (6:00 PM ET) and one for West Coast (6:00 PM PT) — so you have flexibility built in. We offer over 80 hours of live coaching throughout your program and you only need a minimum of 30 to graduate. 

Yes, every tier has a payment plan option. Immersion: 3 payments of $467. Certification: 6 payments of $494. Mentorship: 6 payments of $1,297. Payment plans start at enrollment. You can also explore longer term payment plans through Klarna on the checkout pages. 

All three tiers include the full video course content — 150+ hours of training on philosophy, anatomy, pranayama, meditation, and more. The Immersion is self-paced learning only — no live calls, no certification, no community. The Certification adds weekly live coaching, peer mentorship, practice teaching, observations, the exam, the practicum, the Business of Yoga course, and Yoga Alliance certification. The Mentorship includes everything in Certification PLUS two private 1:1 calls per month with Heather and direct Voxer access to her Monday through Friday.

Due to the digital nature of the program and limited founding cohort enrollment, all sales are final once course access is granted. If you cancel before July 1, 2026 (before access is granted), we'll issue a full refund minus a $500 administrative fee. Full details are in the Student Enrollment Agreement.

Voxer is a free messaging app (like a walkie-talkie). Mentorship students can send Heather text messages and voice memos anytime. Heather checks and responds Monday through Friday, within 48 hours. It's like having a direct line to your teacher between coaching calls.

 The Mentorship tier gives you private, high-touch access to Heather for the full 6 months. You get two 60-minute 1:1 calls per month — one focused on your teaching development, one on building your yoga career — plus direct Voxer access (text and voice) Monday through Friday. It's limited to 5 people because that's the maximum Heather can support at this level without diluting the quality. When those 5 spots fill, they're gone.

July — one month before everyone else starts live coaching calls. Mentorship students get a head start with Heather while other students are in the self-paced foundation phase.

Yes. You'll teach a full 60-minute class as part of this program. You'll submit a written teaching script. You'll receive personal feedback from using the WBYS rubric. You'll have practiced teaching in coaching calls and with your peer partner. Our graduates start teaching within weeks of finishing — because they're prepared, not just certified.

Yes. Everything is online. You need a reliable internet connection and a device that can stream video. Live calls happen on Zoom. Class observations can be done in person at a local studio OR online. That's it.
